“well maintained park but LOTS of road noise”
Nightly Rate: $24 USD
Wonderful hot showers with heated bathrooms and showers. Super clean bathrooms and shower areas. Very poor and spotty cell coverage for ATT due to "fiber optic cable issues" while we were there....

Tip for Other Campers:
Recommend Spring or after rain for waterfalls. A bit of a letdown to hike out to waterfalls that are pretty much nonexistent. If road noise an issue, recommend Hancock City Park or Muskallonge State Park. Krupps at Twin Lakes have good pasties made fresh daily. Better flavor than some of the more advertised places but none of bakeries use enough rutabaga...

- Blu1e The cinnamon rolls at the Hilltop restaurant in L'Anse are huge and very good. The pizza at Irene's is awesome as well.5 years ago Baraga State Park

“Older park, nice location, clean sites. ”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Our lot was a bit uneven but great staff, friendly environment. An older state park but convenient stop between Marquette and Houghton. We camped at Baraga State Park in a Travel Trailer.

“A very nice park on the shore of Lake Superior. ”
Nightly Rate: $27 USD
The park is very nice and well maintained. The only downside is the roadway running between the camp and the lake which can be noisey. That isn't unusual though. We camped at Baraga State Park in a...

Tip for Other Campers:
Houghton is a very nice college town with with a beautiful historic downtown. Just north of that is Quincy mine #2 which has a fantastic tour available. The Quincy smelter on the lake shore has tours but so far I haven't been fortunate enough to be here when one was being offered.
