Tips from campers about Essexville, MI

  • M Warner Clinch River Brewery is only 5 miles from the campground and has food and beer and is dog friendly.
  • Susan_22590 Some things to do: Norris Dam overlook, the 2mi songbird trail which follows along the Clinch River, the Lenoir Museum, Rice Grist Mill and threshing barn, and outdoor casual dining at Clinch River Brewing. Also the nearby town of Clinton is very quaint with several shops and an old diner uptown (Hoskins) is a great place for lunch.
  • rsegler Check out the dam overlook, Coal Creek Miners Museum in Rocky Top, Museum of Appalachia in Norris, and the Songbird Trail on the East side of the park. There are multiple other trails we didnt explore. According to our neighbors, fishing for trout is excellent and they caught their limit (7 trout) every day_
