- Andy & Kathy Appomattox Courthouse National Park is a half hour drive and is free. Kroger, Walmart, etc in Appomattox.1 week ago James River State Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots to do in area. We went for bike ride to the beach and down to historic town. There is a river walk and great restaurants near by. The view from the park is unbelievable. Also went to orchard farm.
