“Good central park for exploring shoreline of Lake Superior from Grand Marais to Whitefish Point”
Nightly Rate: $34 USD
Stayed/enjoyed 6 nights. Quiet for a State Park. Excellent hot showers/bathrooms but not as warm as Baraga. Did a lot of rock hounding at multiple locations. "Must sees" are Pansy's Rock shop,...

Tip for Other Campers:
Pansy's Rock Shop A MUST to get HIGHLIGHTED MAP from Deer Park Lodge telling you which roads WITH CORRECT ROAD CONDITIONS to use when google maps/GPS wants to give erroneous directions or you lose signal. Good food/drinks at Tahquamenon Upper Falls (check hours 11am -7pm) and at brewery/tavern in Grand Marais (noisy bar but good food and homemade cream...

Our site was a little uphill, but once parked, very enjoyable. Other sections of the park have been improved. We camped at Muskallonge Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
Fun to look for Yupper lites on Lake Superior.

“Lovely Park but you'll be disconnected”
Nightly Rate: $36 USD
We stayed in #154 which had a view of Lake Muskallonge and was a large private site. The two end loops are more private. The middle sections are almost like group camping as they're all together with...

Tip for Other Campers:
You must go to UglyFish baking company which is right down the road in Deer Park. It's a coffee shop/bakery run out of a camper. The bread and cinnamon rolls were to die for! There's also a sandwich truck. DO NOT, under any circumstances turn on Rabbit Patch Rd like RVLife GPS tells you to. It's a sand ORV road. Groceries are in Newberry 30 minutes away....

Very well maintained campground with recently updated facilities. Although Muskallonge Lake has a nice sand beach and playground for the kids, take a walk out of the campground, across the road down...

Yes, a visit to Tahquamenon Falls is a must. There's a nice IGA grocery store in Newberry.

“Very nice campground between Muskallonge Lake and Lake Superior”
Nightly Rate: $37 USD
The sites were a little close to each other. Ours was large enough for our 5th wheel and it was setup great as far as our electric and fireplace. Depending on how others are parked we would of had...
