Tip for Other Campers:
Itasca Lake State Park, about 30 minutes away, is worth the trip to wade in the tiny Mississippi River at its headwaters, and to hike or bike their trails. The Paul Bunyan bike trail in Bemidji is fabulous, paved and pretty flat. Bemidji Brewing is excellent, and Luekens Village Foods is a very nice and fairly close grocery store.

- SueJoeA Seemed like a decent area. Nothing super close but not far driving distance. Park is behind a trailer park but it was pretty quietat least in Mid-March. didnt see any playground or fishing or anything really to do here. seems more like a local weekend get away place for people who live in or near Peoria.4 weeks ago Millpoint RV Park
