A lovely big-pines campground on a popular fishing lake. It's VERY tame, but also VERY popular. Loads of noisy children around after dark. The sites are deep enough to leave our 27' fifth wheel...

Tip for Other Campers:

Google what to do in the area; this is a fairly remote campground with only nature-based entertainment nearby. You could check out the "Lost 40" woods, or visit various resorts (if the pandemic opens up access for restaurants). Otherwise plan on staying in your site and enjoying your neighbors' kids and their radios & TV's.

Dogbooboo Just south of Bishop is the town of Big Pine, Copper Top Bar b Que. The best ribs I have ever eaten. I aspire to make my ribs that great.

BillReno It is a pleasant walk to Schatt's bakery! And there is a Von's grocery store across very close by. Be sure to check out the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest where apparently the worlds oldest tree can be seen.

CM11 Downtown Bishop is walking distance with great restaurants, bakeries, a city park, fishing, hiking just a short drive away.. Vons and Smart and Final are across the street, easy walk.
