Tips from campers about Lanesboro, MN
- Sgvo This park is apx 12 miles or a bit more from the canadian border and was a good choice as a stopping point. Coming from the south there is a rest area with a lower and upper path to a water fall. These trails are easy and short to access. Well worth the time. A nice little park in town, with a good boat launch.2 years ago Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park
- TxGals5561 The Boundary Dam tour was fun and kids would probably love seeing the inside of a hydroelectric station. You will also want to try the Farmhouse Cafe in downtown Metaline Falls for breakfast or lunch. The food is homemade cooking as good as mom's. The owner is also quite a pastry chef. The cinnamon rolls are the size of a small hubcap and are delicious! She routinely runs out of her pies by lunch.2 years ago Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park
- Brian_n_Angela_358 We just missed the Sasquatch festival the weekend before, but there are a lot of beautiful hikes in the area. Sweet Creek Falls is a must see, as well as Gardner Caves. You can take a tour of nearby Boundary Dam, and there are lots of opportunities for great pictures. The town of Metaline Falls is just across the river, and there is a wonderful quilt store, Sweet Creek Creations, if you're interested. As an aside, the park is only about 13 miles from the Canadian border.2 years ago Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park
