“Acres of grass and wildflowers”
Nightly Rate: $67 USD
A beautiful. Peaceful campground (not a "resort"). A circle of sites, surrounded by acres of well-mowed grass, surrounded by fields of shrubs, wildflowers, and birds. Well laid out, abundant space...

Tip for Other Campers:
Mille Lacs Indian Museum is a worthy stop for a couple hours, especially the presentation in a panorama of four seasons of traditional life.
“Expensive non-resort”
Nightly Rate: $96 USD
This KOA was a nice basic campground with just a few amenities beyond a playground and access to atv trails. Staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a nice camp store onsite. Nice to have...

Tip for Other Campers:
Bring lots of bug spray; the sand flies can be brutal! Isle has the best grocery store nearby and we liked Muggs for a great burger.
Tips from campers about Soo Line Trail/Onamia KOA Journey
- MrsShoultz There is a local cafe in Onamia called Cedarwood. Great homemade food! We used to goto Chico's place for margaritas, but they are now closed. There is an antique place called Hairy Mosquito farther south on 169. That's always fun. Bring your side-by-side!!!4 years ago Soo Line Trail/Onamia KOA Journey

“Nice park good staff”
Nightly Rate: $55 USD
Large open park. Just about miss it off the highway as there is not a great signage. We had FHU and all worked well. We camped at Soo Line Trail/Onamia KOA Journey in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Good bike paved path on the Soo line trail. The trail can be entered off the back end of the rv park. Nice park. Not too many trees. Bring that bug spray for deer flies and mosquitoes when using the trail. Nice quiet park.
“A very nice KOA”
