Tips from campers about Side Lake, MN
- FranM We unfortunately required an emergency trip to a Veterinarian. Luckily, we found Dr. Holly Kana at Lakeway Veterinary Clinic, just up the road from the campground. We were able to schedule a same-day appointment, and would highly recommend Dr. Kana. Short drive to town of Edna for groceries, fuel, etc.5 years ago Texana Park and Campground
- Goin_Yonder There is nothing to do locally, but youre less than 30 minutes from Victoria and from Port Lavaca. Great museum in Victoria, big college town.10 months ago Texana Park and Campground
- J and L Rose The town of Edna is just a couple of miles away and has a small HEB for groceries and a few restaurants, etc. Victoria is to the west about 20 minutes away and will have most all of your big box stores if you need something you can't find in Edna. Be sure to check out the Brackenridge Recreation Area building across the street as they have local and regional events you may want to attend. Texana Campground is part of the Brackenridge Recreation Area. While we were there they had a free dinner for Veterans with fireworks afterward (sponsored by HEB and Whataburger) and also a huge weekend-long Chili / BBQ cook-off.2 years ago Texana Park and Campground
