This is a FCFS campground with an Excellent lake for fishing. It has a nice dump station, and it had a huge dumpster when we were there in February. A bit off the beaten path, but very nice sites...

Tip for Other Campers:
Bring what you need, it a ways to find a store. They do managed fires, so ticks are low risk, but firewood is scarce.
Tips from campers about Turkey Fork Rec.Area
- RVL433274 Rent E-bikes from Bike Borrego and ride to the sculptures around the desert.
- Riverdrifter Ride your bike of drive around and take in the outdoor sculptures. There are hundreds! Borrego Outfitters is a great store for clothes and other items. Try to shop for food before you get there as groceries are a little limited. The farmers market on Friday is very good however! The golf is also good there! A drive up to JuIian is fun as well. We enjoy lunch at Rams Hill golf course. Great food and expansive views!
