Tip for Other Campers:
If coming from the west on 60, and your GPS instructs you to take 117N, I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you want to lengthen your trip by an hour on a long, narrow winding road. Its best to go to the next exit and follow the directions on this KOA's website.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is a remote area. Mobile wireless may be limited. There aren't a lot of stores. A Dollar General is the closest. There is a grocery store about 9 miles away. The closest gas station about 5 miles away. It's a great place to unplug. Bring your telescope or binoculars for sure if you have them. You will see so many stars at night.

*A small Dollar General and a gas station are 10 minutes away and a larger Dollar General and a few restaurants are 30 minutes away. Tip for Other Campers:
Currently, the road to get there is dirt and very narrow (no room for two way traffic). Call ahead and they will make sure nobody is coming in the opposite direction.
