“Pretty, grassy, with bugs”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Right on the river with a boat launch. Lots of grass. Level sites. Kneeling in grass to hook up means getting biting ants up your pants leg. Lots of mosquitos at dusk. Beautiful sunset and sunrise....

“A perfect desert park”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
They called while we were on our way and upgraded our site at no extra charge. The park is beautiful. It was designed very nicely, and it looks like it is maintained with love. It is not large, but...

“A decent place to overnight in beautiful Santa Cruz”
Nightly Rate: $68 USD
An asphalt parking space with full hookups and a picnic table. At the inland end of a long, narrow inlet, a pretty marina. People walking, driving and riding by on bikes. Oak trees overhead. A nice...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Crow's Nest, a nice place for breakfast (maybe for other meals, too), is a 20 minute walk from the RV sites. The Santa Cruz Diner in town is also great for breakfast.
“An awesome location, with electricity”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
We were happy to get one night in July 2024. It was hot, but we were glad to have electicity to run our air conditioner. The shuttle bus was not too hot. The canyon at the Temple of Sinawava was cool...

We like the Main Street Cafe in Hurricane for breakfast.
“A nice base on the edge of the town of Kanab on the ease side of Zion Natioonal Park”
Nightly Rate: $58 USD
We stayed here because it was cooler than Monument Valley or Page and is close to the east entrance to Zion NP. We had picked out a site online. When we checked in, the staff person changed us to a...

Tip for Other Campers:
The dining room at the Parry Lodge in Kanab is a special place with white table cloths, attention to detail and a very nice staff. Good food and wine, too. We visited for lunch or dinner both times we were in Kanab in 2024. My wife enjoyed her tour of the Knab Heritage House Museum.
