  DoryJ Choctaw Nation Museum and Talimena Scenic Byway nearby and both are worth a visit. The location is a food desert with closest real grocery store 30 minutes away and Walmart 53 miles. Choctaw Travel Center in Clayton has the closest thing to a grocery store with some fresh meats and produce, enough to get you by and surprisingly reasonable prices. We had lunch at Southern Lark in Clayton and it was good enough. 3 or 4 days max ok here.

  Sonny Payne 3 Be sure to have a bite of fantastic barbecue at Outlaw Barbecue in Talihina and if you get the chance, visit Loveras Italian Market in Krebs for great cheeses and charcuterie. Of course, you cant miss the Talimena Drive if a scenic outing is your cup of tea!!!
