“Great small, intimate park”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
Campground is not large, but is clean and very well kept. Owners are nice and extremely accommodating. This park easily handled my 41 fifth-wheel and tow vehicle. Spaces are gravel, but quite level...

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to have a bite of fantastic barbecue at Outlaw Barbecue in Talihina and if you get the chance, visit Loveras Italian Market in Krebs for great cheeses and charcuterie. Of course, you cant miss the Talimena Drive if a scenic outing is your cup of tea!!!
“New park with potential”

Stayed here enroute with a last-minute booking when we changed our plans. Sites were large and done with well-manicured gravel. However, the layout details are a bit odd - the sewer hookup for each...

- Love At First Site Appleknockers is a local store about 3 miles south on rt 25 in Wentworth. They have gas, food and swimming toys. its also a hardware store. Moose Scoops is located in the middle of town. Good stop for ice cream after a long day in the sun. I suggest finding fire wood before arriving. The fire wood at Moose Hill Lock is $12 per bundle. Approximately 5 to 6 pieces of wood in a bundle. Go 1 mile in any direction and you will find fire wood for $4/bundle.9 months ago Moose Hillock Campground
- Bigfunrv Go visit the Lost River Gorge! It is a great spot. And also go check out the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Park. Worth the Drive!5 months ago Moose Hillock Campground
- Donna_706 The Washington Cog railroad was a really interesting ride. It's about an hour away. On a hot day, pull over to the side of the road in the White Mountains National Forest and let the kids go in the water that bubbling over the rocks. Lincoln has a couple restaurants that were pretty good. Clark Bears is a show that was entertaining. We also went on a Moose tour. It was at night so not for the real young children. We did see a moose!!! (Pemi Valley Moose Tours)9 months ago Moose Hillock Campground

“Quiet park with large space and plenty of parking.”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Lovely new RV park with full hookups minutes away from Lake Sardis. Large spaces that have plenty of room between each site. Check this place out soon! We camped at Highway 2 RV Park in a Motorhome.
