Cleanliness

A major in/out for the Missouri Breaks National Monument the boat launch is busy. Canoe groups head out on 3 day trip into the wilderness. Many stay here beforehand. There are 3 big open tenting...

Tip for Other Campers:

Fort Benton is a nice day trip, even if you take the Virgelle Ferry and 18 miles of reasonable back roads. Trailers or big rigs on the ferry is chancy due to a steep bank. We're told the ferry will take you over and back just for fun. Free doesn't hurt. Virgelle Mercantile and bank are historic buildings and antique store.

Robert_582023 We were there for a day and a half so we didnt look into attractions, there are dog runs and plenty of walking roads and trails so that was good

ReKoopn We drove to Dalem & Boston which made for a long day but being from the West Coast we knew we wouldnt get a chance to see Salem again. It was very busy being October but I think itd be boring without all the extra stores and Halloween themed sites.
