- OHCal1988 Empire Bakery is in the same building as Tokyo Restaurant look for the yellow awning around the corner for great sour dough and cheese bread. Fresh crab in Charleston and the marine life center is worth while too. The road to Shore Acres washed out and CLOSED but you can still walk up the road (or hike the coast trail) up to the Simpson Reef to see and hear the seals and saw lions (walking the road took about 45 minutes walking nonstop, the trail took 2-3 hours with lots of photo stops.)3 months ago Sun Outdoors Coos Bay
