“Beautiful spot, easy access”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
Beautiful campground in the ntl forest. Blacktop road, and rv pads. Got a beautiful spot on the edge of the forest, next to a golden meadow. We camped at Charles Waters Campground in a Travel Trailer.

“Our favorite place to camp!”
Nightly Rate: $15 USD
Charles Waters Campground is a few miles off the highway up in the mountains. It is generally quiet, with great space between sites. There is one ADA electric site, but all the others have no hookups....

Tip for Other Campers:
There are grocery stores and gas stations along Highway 93 within 10 miles in either direction, but no dump stations nearby. If you want a fire you will want to pick up wood at one of the stores in Stevensville or Florence - no wood is available at the campground.

- Beesonut Walk over the dam to see the impressive dinosaur tracks. It's only a 20 minute walk from the campground. To see the prints more clearly, it's best to go either early in the morning or late afternoon when the shadows from the sun make them easier to see.7 months ago Clayton Lake State Park

“Not for really big rigs!”
Nightly Rate: $7 USD
I wish I had seen the first review before we took our friend's word. He scoped the campground out on his motorcycle, which is not the best perspective if you're taking in a HDT and 45' fifth wheel. We...

This campground is not really close to anything but really good hiking and trails into the Bitterroot Wilderness. Come for the solitude and unplug, and you'll be happy.

“Nice for the price”
Nightly Rate: $7 USD
Not too far off the highway on a fairly good road. Go left at the T for the campground, right for the horse area. 34' TT was as much as I would want at the end loop. We used #11, back in, and stayed...
