Tip for Other Campers:
If you get there in time, take the 45 minute drive to catch the sunset on the overlook, it's amazing. The road to the overlook got a little too rutted for our 2wd Element, but we parked it and walked the remaining 5 minutes to the ledge.

Tips from campers about Small Towne RV Park
- Steverino If traveling from the north, take Rt 68 to Rt 219 South. The GPS will try to take you down Route 24 or Rt 26. You will hit every bend, hill, nook and cranny a West Virginia mountain pass can bring. Route 219 is much safer!! Bring your hiking shoes! Multiple trails and trail systems on and off campus. - Julie Throne If you are driving in from VA, make sure your vehicle has the power to deal with some steep inclines. Unlike the Western Mountain highways, we had several miles of 9% grade. We were fine, but NOT going the speed limit! There are tons of hikes in the state park, along with a bar/restaurant at the ski lodge. The town of Davis looks fun. Visit Miles City. Walmart, laundry mat and a winery. Got decent food in Terry at the Roy Rogers bar, grill &casino and tried a new Montana beer: Cold Smoke( dark and sweet)
