“Walking Distance to Great Basin NP Visitor Center”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
This is a small park off US 50 (The Loneliest Hwy in America). It is one of two parks in Baker. The restaurant/bar is no longer open. My site felt like it was in the middle of the road, but it worked...

Tip for Other Campers:
I would highly advise visiting the Great Basin Visitor Center, even if you are passing through. This NP is free, and the information is terrific. I will definitely come back and spend more time there. There is a scenic drive to the top of the mountain, and ranger-led cave tours are available nearby.
“Convenient location but very unkept. Oddly it had 2 Rivian chargers. ”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
This campground hasnt had any love in YEARS. I think it could be a nice place with a little elbow grease. Most travelers were just passing through although there were a few full timers. We felt safe...

Location! Only 7 minutes to the Great Basin Lehman Caves Visitor Center. BUT the place is run down and basically a junkyard of old vehicles, RVs and building materials. This place could be a beautiful...

Tip for Other Campers:
While visiting The Great Basin National Park do the astronomy program: they are Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday 8-10:30 PM. In my opinion, this program is the BEST part of the park.

Level gravel site, good power, water, sewer connections. Dusty conditions prevail. The laundry room and machines were clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean, but small. The womens...

Tip for Other Campers:
The town of Baker is very small. There are few services, except for a good coffee shop, a general store, and a couple restaurants. Its location near Great Basin NP keeps it going.
