“Open all year near the end of the lively Kancamagus Scenic Highway”
Nice National forest campground is open all year when most others close for the season. We visited Blackberry Crossing - WMNF, no overnight stay.
Beautiful campground. Large deciduous trees. Very large campsites. The internal roads are sealed and easy to navigate. Somewhat expensive for no hook ups and only pit toilets but fabulous location....

Tips from campers about Blackberry Crossing - WMNF
- Jeanne_H Be prepared for no cell service. Also, GPS will send you past the entrance. Be sure to look out for it and dont miss it because turning around in a larger 5th wheel was rather challenging.2 years ago Pardee Reservoir Recreation

Nightly Rate: $22 USD
This is in the White Mountain National Forest, so no hookups. It has pit toilets which were as clean as a pit toilet can be. That being said...it is a lovely, clean, shaded campground with generally...

Tip for Other Campers:
Lower Falls swimming area, Boulder Loop hiking trail, covered bridge, Swift River, hiking to Chocurua Mountain, waterfall hikes, North Conway for shopping and eating out. Lots to do in the Whites.
A very pretty campground with some historic significance. Our site was flat and level, with plenty of space. I find $35 a little pricey for no services, and it was close to the road. But with fall...

This park is clean and quiet. Sites were easy to back into even with new 5th, if you stay on right hand side of park. Sites are a little closer together than some of the other Federal Parks we have...
