We enjoyed going to the Wild Lights holiday exhibit at the Living Desert. There is a Ralphs grocery store, CVS and restaurants within a 4 mile radius. Everything else that you need is in La Quinta.

Gold Beach is known for its salmon fishing and Rogue River jet boat rides. Last year we stayed in a park on the jetty which was very windy. Best to travel there in the mornings. This park is more protected. If you need larger stores for shopping, Brooking is just south of Gold Beach and has a lot to offer.

Be sure to unhitch your toad if you have a MotorHome prior to arrival. However, we didnt and were okay as no one was exiting the small park on the narrow driveway. We also left the toad unhitched when we left and found a location outside of the park to hitch back up. Lincoln City is a nice seaside town with restaurants, small Outlet store mall, etc. Traffic...

The park is across the street from all types of stores, inexpensive gas at Fred Meyers. The harbor and good restaurants, shops are all close by. Lots to do in the area.
