Tip for Other Campers:
There is a covered bridge with height restriction to 8 3 that GPS may direct you to.the parks website gives safe direction and we had no issues following that.

We overlooked the river in a large pull thru site 47. Bank was too high to fish off but it was a nice view. Campground is small as we like and quiet. Nice to ride a bike and explore along the river....

Tip for Other Campers:
Lots of covered bridges to find!! Went to Nordshires family bakery. DELICIOUS! Visited the railroad arch bridge. Amazing find. Sat by the Keene airport and watched many planes take off. Including a small jet and a helicopter! Fished at Wilson's pond, so pretty. Such a great weekend in Swanzey!! Of course visited main street Keene.
Tips from campers about Ashuelot River Campground
- scottven Watch for the "Slushies are ready" sign at the camp store. Wild blueberries grow all along the roads. They ripen in late June and early July.2 years ago Bunganut Lake Camping Area

Tip for Other Campers:
Great river for tubing on. Town of Keene is just 10 min. Away. This is covered bridge territory so check that your route doesn't go across a covered bridge. As of this review RVL gps takes you across a closed bridge. RT 101 to RT 12 Main St. To RT 32 Old Homestead Hwy to Eaton Rd. Is a safe route.

Follow the temp directions on the website to get to the rv park. The government is doing work on a covered bridge that they use to get to the park
