White sands NP was a nice 1/2 day adventure. Hiked Bridal Falls, went to the Missile museum, Pistachio land.

We stayed 4 nights at the Elks Lodge. The lodge is open daily and they have dinner most nights, the bar is smoking, while we were in there no one was actually smoking but you could smell the smoke....

We visited White Sands NP, Pistachio Land and Winery, Heart of the Desert Winery, the Museum of Space History and we drove up the mountain to Cloudcroft and enjoyed pizza and beer at the Brewery.

Park was ok for what we did! Some sights were out of service! We camped at Alamogordo Elks Lodge #1897 in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to visit the White Sands National Park and spend a day. The Space Museum in town was also excellent and worth a visit.
