Tip for Other Campers:
Has episodes of VERY high and sustained winds (30mph sustained, and 45mph gusts), and is located quite near the Continental Divide, so cold in winter. Deming has a beautiful and quirky "dinosaurs meet/meat sabretooth tigers" city park. Deming has a standard issue Walmart, another place for excellent and reasonable meat, and another competing grocery store....

Easy drive to Deming which has a WalMart, Tractor Supply, Dollar Store and grocery store, along with a few fast food places. Several good local restaurants and Mimbres Museum is worth a couple hours to visit....
