We enjoyed the 5 mile drive to The Catwalk - a steel walkway suspended above the creek through Whitewater Canyon. The drive over to Mogollon, a "ghost" town was beautiful but we were camping too early for the town's attractions to be open.

5 miles down Catwalk Rd. (NM 174) from Glenwood is BLM Catwalk Recreation Area. The Catwalk is an accessable 0.5 mi. Walkway suspended on the canyon walls with Whitewater Creek below. Very nice day use (dawn to dusk) picnic area with picnic tables, grills, parking area, pit toilets and beautiful trail to the Catwalk through the trees and along Whitewater...

- Roaming Roads and Rivers 5 miles down Catwalk Rd. (NM 174) from Glenwood is BLM Catwalk Recreation Area. The Catwalk is an accessable 0.5 mi. walkway suspended on the canyon walls with Whitewater Creek below.
