Nearest shopping in Santa Fe about 30 miles. Lots of federal parks, -Bandolier- excellent park with very well preserved ruins. Quite different from most.- Los Alamos-- A disappointment. Might be better if they were actually doing tours.-- Petroglyphs-- also not upo\ to expectations. Do bring your dogs not matter what the web page says. Poorly...

Tips from campers about Tetilla Peak
- agesilaus Nearest shopping in Santa Fe about 30 miles. Lots of federal parks, -Bandolier- excellent park with very well preserved ruins. Quite different from most. - Los Alamos-- A disappointment. Might be better if they were actually doing tours. -- Petroglyphs-- also not upo\ to expectations. Do bring your dogs not matter what the web page says. Poorly signed and organized. - The Caldera-- weather was awful, no signs or markers. Not sure what we were supposed to be seeing. Visitor center is just a gift shop.
