Tip for Other Campers:
Had a great lunch at " The Gathering II " and were informed by the owner Paul that hot showers are available for a donation at the Pie Town RV Park.
An area of trees, dirt roads and open spaces for selecting a spot. Not really laid out as a campground as you might imagine. Just randomly came to be. Quiet, could accomodate large rigs. May be city...

Tip for Other Campers:
Not much to Pie Town. No gas or groceries. Only thing open was the cafe which, surprise, specializes in pies. The rest of their menu was very disappointing. Burger w/fries was $12.95 I think. Only a few items to choose from. Small 6" pie was $10, about right for 2 people. A large variety of pie ingredients. We waited a very long time for our order, was...

- DavetheScot The area is renowned for the attractions to visit in the Black Hills including Custer Park, Spearfish Canyon, Full Throttle Saloon, Buffalo Chip, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore, Belle Joli winery, Vanocker Canyon, Deadwood, Sturgis, Rapid City and so many more. We traveled throughout the area for 6 days and saw the colorful changes to the foliage in the canyons and hilltops.6 months ago Black Hills Station RV & Campground

- TheLeroys This is a good location to see so much. Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis and Deadwood are all within an hour (or closer) from here. Definitely go to Neighbors Grill east on Sturgis Rd. They have the best steak tips and beer.6 years ago Black Hills Station RV & Campground

This is a large unkempt field near the small town of Pie Town. The sites are large and wooded with lots of animal activity in the area. No services at all, but ok for a couple of free nights. We...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Very Large Array, Pie Town.
This charming (and free) little campground offers quiet sites nestled among pine and spruce trees, and is located on the south side of Route 60 in "downtown" Pie Town. Sites are level, and there is a...
