Tip for Other Campers:
There are an infinite number of places to eat but one you shouldn't miss is Paulie Gee's Slice Shop a couple of blocks up Noble. The best pizza I have ever had. It's all they do.
Use the East River Ferry. It is very affrdable and will get you to DUMBO in Brookly or Wall Street in lower Manhattan or 34th street in Mid-town in minutes.

Tip for Other Campers:
Bikes (pedal and e-bikes) are used a lot for transportation by locals and bike path along East River is only a block away on West Street. Recommend walking across the Brooklyn Bridge (Pedestrian path starts in the middle of intersection of Tilary & Adams Streets in Brooklyn). You can also take the Ferry to get to Battery Park.
