Tips from campers about Catskill, NY

- 2022Travelers Hiked the trail to Kaaterskill Falls. A lot of stairs but not a difficult hike. Trail was well marked. About 1.6 miles. Somewhat busy for a Tuesday. Beautiful falls. Too bad people dont think of others when climbing all over the rocks right in front. We came to see the waterfall, not to watch your photo shoot1 year ago Brookside Campground
- Matthew_63 Harvest smokehouse!!! It's about 20-30 minutes from the camp ground but worth the drive! Don't forget to get some apple cider donuts from the shop next door! Zoom flume water park!! This was definitely a hidden gem on this trip. Went into it with no expectations but our kids (6 and 11) had an absolute blast! Plenty for all ages to play all day. Check price chopper for discounted tickets. Retail tickets are $32 each, but we got them for $3 each from price chopper. Lake taghkanic! This makes for a relaxing day out with the family! Non powered watercraft rentals, good sized park for the kids, a beach for swimming, and plenty of space to spread out for a picnic! There's also a good loop around the lake to walk off all the amazing food your ate for lunch. This was $10 per vehicle.2 years ago Camp Catskills RV Park
