“Perfect for hiking to waterfalls.”
Nightly Rate: $38 USD
No amenities, beautiful new bath house, Rolling Hills that allowed for campsites to be spaced out. A real gem. We camped at Taconic State Park - Copake Falls Area in a Travel Trailer.

This Campground allows direct access by bike to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, beautiful experience.

Mostly shady spots throughout campground. Loops C & D have nice wooded sites for travel trailers. Roads are narrow and some have large bumps due to erosion during heavy storms. Plenty of bathrooms and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Bring your bike and go on the Rail Trail that has connection near camp office. Visit Bash Bish Falls and the Copake Iron works.
Tips from campers about Taconic State Park - Copake Falls Area
- TexasDavis67 Amazing Corn at the road side stands, Great Dairy shops with incredible Ice Cream. Loved the Drive In theater not far away.
- RV Tripper 007 45 minutes from Niagara Falls.
- JoeH 30 minute or so drive to Niagra Falls or Rochester. Nice brewery ( Live Edge Brewing) just a few miles from the CG.

Wonderful park. Clean. Safe. Amenities were fine. Considerate people. Nice family atmosphere. We camped at Taconic State Park - Copake Falls Area in a Tent.
