Tips from campers about New Hampton, NY
- Chuck Brown We didn't get to do much due to COVID19 issues, but there is a CostCo and lots of other stores nearby. The only notable thing is that in Idaho nobody wears masks, so we stayed clear of all stores. The lowest price gas/diesel station is Maverick.4 years ago Ambassador RV Resort
- TD 1981-Navy Vets Took a nice drive on one of Idahos Scenic Byways, the Snake River Canyon. Due to covid concerns, no restaurants or much else this time, but lots to do in the area, and all major store chains are there.3 years ago Ambassador RV Resort
- ForzaDude Jump Creek Falls is a nice waterfall and short hike through a canyon. The Swan Falls Dam is a really nice area as well with great picnic spots and the Dam Museum (which is only open on Saturday from 10-4) is very interesting and well worth a visit. Of course you have to visit the Idaho State Capitol which is beautiful and then while you are there, go to Goody's Soda Fountain for a fantastic ice cream treat followed by a nice walk through Hyde Park where there are several nice shops and restaurants.2 years ago Ambassador RV Resort
