“Man we dealt with was amazing and very friendly.”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Very quant and charming setup. We stayed just overnight but I will definitely stop here again. We camped at Deep River Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

- KDI24 1. If you are coming from Indianapolis : There is still construction at the intersection of HWY 52 and 47 -> GPS still make you do a U turn at the next intersection. We just took the next available road on the left (W 650 N, not even half a mile after) which brings you in the back of Thorntown and we did not have any issues on this side road ( we have a travel trailer, but there was enough space for a motorhome and a 5th wheel). 2. 45 min : Indianapolis speedway, mostly highways the entire time 3. 15 min from Lebanon -> the Americana pub was nice and the Klooz Brews.9 months ago Old Mill Run Park Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
Black Powder Smokehouse in Jamestown is a bit of a drive, but has the best BBQ meats around. Go on a Tuesday for their smoked pork belly and brisket. Get there early, as they sell out quickly. No good Chinese food in the area, pizza is mediocre at best, and the chain restaurants are what you'd expect for a depressed area.

Structures and facilities are a bit dated but everything was working fine and the staff friendly and helpful. We camped at Deep River Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

“Quiet but aging campground ”

Hops BBQ in Asheboro is an institution and is worth a visit for good bbq or a reasonable meal. We went to the Hamilton Steakhouse for brunch and it was excellent. The antique stores in Asheboro are worth a visit.
