Tips from campers about Hominy Valley RV Park
- Freech Fossil tour was good. Make sure to look for the 1/3 mile trail from the campground to the fossil site. Do not walk the road to the site! Hot and hilly. Ghost town mine was very interesting.9 months ago Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park

Would definitely recommend visiting the Biltmore Estate and exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway....
There are 2 parts of this park; one is right on the road with about 6 sites, mostly occupied by full timers. Then there is an open field in a valley next to the owner's home, which is where we were....

Tip for Other Campers:
So much to do in Asheville and surrounding area. But very close to this campground, take NC route 151 up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and go to the Pisgah Inn for great views, meals, hiking. It's only about 11 miles....
