In the boonies, best t bring passport as you have to go back through US customs. Gardens are very nice.
“Carefully select your site! Mud, narrow sites, encroaching trees”
Nightly Rate: $33 USD
Note that in addition to the campground cost, they charge a $20 per person, per day admission fee to the gardens, making the real cost of the campground fairly high considering the condition and...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Peace Gardens are nice; the cacti Conservatory is interesting but provides very little actual information on the common names or origins of the various cacti, and it seemed haphazardly organized. You can tour both the gardens and conservatory in less than a day. There is gas and diesel at one station, and one grocery store in Dunseith, 15 minutes away....

“What a great stop”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
We loved our visit. We had the whole camping section to ourselves as no one else was staying here. The sites seemed to be adequately spaced. Plenty of room for large rvs. Nice scenery, beautiful park...

Tip for Other Campers:
Have passport ready. The area is between border stations. No check in to get in but border crossing to go either direction to get out. Looks to be a fun place for kids as playground area in garden was large and unique. Plenty of picnic area area lakes. The gift shop had interesting items and the sunken garden area was beautiful.
“highly recommend ”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Very spacious sites with E&W. Quiet and private. Hiking trail goes right through the campground. We love the peace garden. We camped at International Peace Garden in a Travel Trailer.

“An adequate spot”
Nightly Rate: $30 USD
Many of the sites in this campground are in a wooded area. There are a few that are around the perimeter of an open area that can be used for overflow. These sites are on grass, close together and...

Tip for Other Campers:
We arrived early afternoon and were able to visit the gardens then and stayed for just one night. There is little here to warrant more than a two night stay. The gardens are beautiful! Plan for several hours to walk through them.
