Tip for Other Campers:
1. Take the route from the south to get there. If you follow a route (RVsafe GPS or Google) will take north through Washburn and then back down. This includes about 5miles of well-grated (at least while I was there) gravel. All but the last .5 mile is paved if you come from the south.2. There will be a $7 A DAY for a tow vehicle. It is not pay for one...

Just google Big Spring- Ozark Nat'l Scenic Riverways, Blue Spring (Current River), & Alley Spring & Mill. Nice hiking also. Other3 years ago Ozark Riverfront Campground
- Wagging Trails When you get to Brown St. you need to go under the bridge to get to the Park. Not much to do in town other than go to the National Park, providing it is open.4 years ago Ozark Riverfront Campground

Very friendly staff. Nice level site with grass for the dog to play in. Missouri River a short walk away. We camped at Cross Ranch State Park - Main Primitive in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Only 15 miles away is the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and 2 miles farther is the recreated Ft. Mandan where they spent the first winter. In the town of Washburn is a very good county museum that is free.
