Tips from campers about Lockeport, NS
- Kevinran Go to Boxing Rock brewpub in Shelburn NS great drinks and the nachos with pulled pork are fantastic.8 months ago Lockeport Campground & Cottages
- DBentley Lockeport has a beautiful white sand beach, a large back harbour for their fishing fleet, a lookoff, boardwalk, trails, a couple of lighthouses and a small picnic park. Its very scenic. There is a 2-3 k rail trail ( which starts on the road right across from the campground). Trail can be hiked or biked right into town, and connects to the Lockeport Trestle Trail, and the boardwalk. Necessities can be purchased at the town market, Pharmasave, or Lydgate General store and gas (just a five minute walk from the campground). There is also a bank and liquor store in Lockeport. The nearby Sable River Tom Tigney Trail is also a great trail for hiking or biking. And a visit to the historic town of Shelburne is highly recommended.10 months ago Lockeport Campground & Cottages
