Tip for Other Campers:
Didnt venture out as this was day 2 of a trip to Ohio from Florida and were just looking for a place to rest for the night.
Tips from campers about Washington County Fair Park
- G & I Lots of fun exploring the caves. Bring flashlights. We wore our bike helmets but they do have some to use at the visitor's center. Good sturdy shoes also needed. They have caves with various difficulties. We didn't choose the ones we needed to crawl through.
- RickRei603 Be at the Visitor Center (walking distance from the campground) as soon it opens if you wish to participate in a ranger-led FCFS cave tour. The tour when we were there filled as soon as the Visitor Center opened with day-trippers. Many caves are closed during the summer for nesting bats check before you go.
- Loiz3744 Ii is mostly open, some shade. Be prepared.
