“Large sites but very weak cell service”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
This is an OK place for an overnight or two, and the sites are large and spread out. However, I got frustrated with the weak cell service, which meant my internet service was also poor. Made one OK...

Tip for Other Campers:
Groceries are expensive in Canada right now, even with the exchange rate, so stock up with non-perishables and even perishables if you are coming from the U.S., which I did because of previous trip to Canada this summer. As an example, heard one man at Walmart complaining about having to pay $8 for a pound of Walmart brand butter. Even with exchange rate,...

We stayed just over a week and only had noisy neighbors on Canada Day weekend with barking dogs. The park is huge with swimming beaches and some trails. There is a great walk that is outside the park...

DO NOT take the James Street bridge unless you have a class B. The bridge is narrow and weight restricted. We saw an RV try and had to wait for a police escort to get turned around. The cheapest fuel is on City Road on the way to the park and was .30 per liter cheaper than in town. Always a line from all the locals.

- Bob & Sue - Michigan Be sure to visit Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park. Also heed notice on website to AVOID James Street when being routed into the park! It is too narrow for any RV!11 months ago Chippewa Park

“Super friendly hosts! Convenient location.”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
This was a great first stop after crossing the border into Canada. An opportunity to stock up before heading around Lake Superior. Close to town and shopping. Park was quiet. Our pull-through grassy...

Start with a visit to the Tourist Pagoda. Staff in there were super friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Fort William Historic Park was great. Sleeping Giant Brewery has really good craft beers. Beefcake's Burger Factory is the place for a good smash burger.

“Large park with lots of activities. Do not take james street bridge. ( GPS INSTRUCTIONS)”

Large well laid out municipal park which is accessed by paved roads in poor condition. BE SURE AND TAKE 61 TO 61B. James St Bridge is too narrow for most wider units!!! This review is for extra large...
