We really loved our four day stay in Salmonberry with our grandchildren. The sites are well spaced, have a table and nice fire pit. Big grassy common to play games and the river are memory makers....

Tip for Other Campers:
Be aware that the local grocery store is 30 miles away in Corvallis.
Deb's is the only restaurant close by and the food was just okay. Their outdoor seating was nice.
Don't miss the general store that has a lot of gadgets, a real throw back. You can get eggs milk and bread there along with your surprise gadget that you didn't know you needed.
This is a beautiful, quiet, out of the way County Park that is well maintained. There is only electric at the sites which are all extra large. There are water pumps spaced throughout the park but no...

There is a small service station with gas and diesel in Alsea as well as a restaurant and small grocery. Alsea Falls is a beautiful side trip with miles of dog friendly hiking trails available. Eugene was 90 minutes away(would not recommend Alpine Road for towing larger rigs as some one lane sections) and had a Farmer's Market which not only had great...
