Tips from campers about Newport, OR
- VickyZ Conveniently located near Burnet, Marble Falls, and Kingsland. Very nice winery close by on Park Road 4, Perissos Vineyard and Winery. Hoover Valley Store and Cafe also on Park Road 4. Ranger led activities for kids and adults. Pet friendly. Friendly helpful rangers, staff, and volunteers.1 week ago Inks Lake State Park
- Traveler7724 We used the Texas Wash House laundry on S Water Street, Burnet which was safe and clean with 20+ washers/dryers and only 1 of each out of order. Near the laundry was a Starbucks, McDonalds and BBQ restaurant. The park water had an off-putting taste and odor so we replaced our regular water particle filter with a charcoal filter, you may want to bring bottled drinking water.3 weeks ago Inks Lake State Park
- tmorton1987 Make a trip is Longhorn caverns and do a tour. Only about a 15 minute drive.3 weeks ago Inks Lake State Park
