- Judy Birchland We tried canoeing the lake but there were so many really large and very high powered and fast boats that we constantly fought wakes. Millers At The Cove, just a 1/4 mile away, good food and atmosphere. Walmart six miles away, Safeway eight miles. Restaurants, not that many, for the ones close, varying quality and that's left up to personal taste.
