Lots to do. South Beach Fish Market is locally sourced with fabulous fish. Newport Cafe in town, a little place with big portions. Rogue Ale Brewing is right across the parking lot and the have the Rogue Sunset bar in the same lot as the Rv park.

Tips from campers about Port of Newport RV Park
- usa clark Go to Waldport to the Sourdough Bakery only open Thurs, Fri, and Sat. You'll be glad you did! Go to the oyster farm up river 6 miles, buy fresh oysters harvested that morning and fry them back at your RV. The Best! Many great places to eat in Newport. Clean, good space between sites, close to aquarium, OSU visitor center, great view of the bridge. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Highly recommend a stroll along SW Bay Blvd., which is just across the bay to the north of the park. Just as you cross the bridge, turn right into the Lighthouse District. It has a mix of restaurants and businesses, including some docked boats that sell fresh fish. We bought some albacore and enjoyed it that evening.
