“Small, but Nice!”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
We liked this park. It is small, but nicely maintained. It is whimsically decorated, and clear that the owners like to make things nice. The one internal road is narrow, and you need to swing wide at...

Tip for Other Campers:
We enjoyed a drive out to Paradise Point State Recreation Site. We were the only ones there that day. We walked down to the beach and were amazed to see absolutely no one on the beach for a mile either way. You'll never find a California beach without a lot of people. If you have dogs, it would be a great place to give them their freedom and watch them run....

Tip for Other Campers:
Mr. Ed's is a go to place as well as the Salty Dog for food and drink. Groceries are pricy at Ray's Grocery. Go to Dollar General first. Go to Port Orford and watch boats being lifted in and out of water.

This park is a gem. It is quiet, well maintained, the staff and full timer make it a great place to stay. Easy in and out and there is enough room between sites to set out a table and chairs. Small...

Tip for Other Campers:
The beaches are awesome. If you are a dog owner go to Cape Blanco. It is a 2 mile walk, round trip, that goes through a field prior to getting the beach. Let the dog off the leash, they will love it. The walk through the field is mostly along the river so the scenery is also fun. Beaches are up and down the coast, 99% are dog friendly. Even on weekend you...
