Bodega Bay is about 25 minutes away. The drive is beautiful, although the road is very narrow and winding. There are some good places to eat once you get there. A stroll through Duncans Mills was also very nice. There are several touristy shops available to browse in that historic little village.

We enjoyed our drive north on the Avenue of the Giants. We stopped at a couple of groves to get out and walk through the amazing trees and ferns. It was beautiful. Tip for Other Campers:
Eureka is about 25 minutes north if you need to do some shopping. We went to the Walmart there. It is a good size town with lots of restaurants and businesses to choose from. The Reservation/Casino just south of town has pretty good diesel prices.
