Stop by the tiki bar. Not really a bar but a neat little corner set up by a couple of seasonal folks. Ask for a tour, very nice people.Pocono Brewery is good for a dinner out....
Tips from campers about Mount Pocono Campground
- DesignTango Most restaurants were limited take out only. Almost everything was closed due to Covid 19. Mt. Pocono as a town is limited and older. We thought there would be more hiking around than there was available to do. The town seems to focus on the Casino and the giant outdoor swimming park. Neither of these things were why we wanted to be in the mountains. The Pocono are not as nice as the mountains in NC and would not bother to go again on our trips up to CT from FL.5 years ago Mount Pocono Campground
- easycamper Large rigs will have a problem on the terraced hill, I saw a large toy hauler pull in & not make it into the spot the park assigned to him. They had to find him another spot & a lot of people had to help him maneuver out of that area, to try to avoid hitting other campers/cars,3 years ago Mount Pocono Campground

Tip for Other Campers:
We visited the Lakota Wolf Preserve while we were there. Its a small preserve, we really enjoyed seeing the wolves and learning about them. Its about a 40 min drive from the campground....
