- Marioreyesrvlife_568 There is an amusement park 10 minutes away and 20 minutes from the great gulf shores, again, located between Mobile and the beach, walking distance to a dollar store, neighbors are very quiet2 years ago Bluegrass RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
There are great places to play or hike around the lake. And Several "Observation sites" that aren't easy to find. Also the visitor center is very interesting, but hidden down a dirt road off the main road as you enter the park. They have live snakes and lots of animals and information about the dam and lake

“Narrow roads but nice”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Would come back but definitely at a different site. There are some tight roads to deal with. We camped at Tompkins in a Fifth Wheel.
