Many nice lighthouses in area, including the one that received the first distress call from the titanic. Good restaurants are Habourview and Point Prim (sit outside beside the water and eat some great seafood). Many other nice parks short distance to explore. Nice drive up to East Point. Tip for Other Campers:
Park is near the ferry to Nova Scotia. A great little fish shack, Wood Island Seafood, is a left turn just before the ferry ticket office. The Confederation Rail Trail is nearby for bicyclers. An easy ride from the Murray River parking spot to Murray Harbor brought us to the Harbourview Restaurant for lunch.

Tip for Other Campers:
Captain's Cove in Montague has very good food, a supermarket and lots of other services. Souris, East Point and North Lake all worth seeing. Sorry we missed the Fisheries Museum at Basin Head.
