Tip for Other Campers:

We drove to the other side of the lake, same park to do a beach day. Excellent beach on the north side but a 45 minute drive. If you dont get lost. We managed have GPS issues maybe because of the remoteness. The bike path is awesome and takes you across a dam.

Bobootten Globe Life Field is only about 7 miles away. Rather than trying to navigate traffic and park, we took an Uber to and from. It was super simple and worked out great. Try Hurtado barbecue...you won't be disappointed!

JeffatJacks Park is an easy 15 minutes to Epic Central which is a huge campus that hosts a variety of events and has an indoor water park, indoor basket ball courts, walking trails, etc. Waffle House is just up the street for those breakfast needs.
