“Do Not Recommend”
Nightly Rate: $62 USD
The only positive is the location of the campground. The campground owner does not mandate dogs to be on leashes. There was A LOT of road noise. No amenities offered at the campground. The nightly...

- ELamp11 Very close to Rushmore, Custer SP, grasslands NP and Crazy Horse. There are also many cute small towns (hill city, Custer, keystone, etc.) There were so many lakes and hikes and drives to take in this beautiful part of the country. Highly recommend Spearfish Canyon, Jewel Cave NM, and the many lakes. We went to the Air and Space Museum, Mammoth Site and many other fun activities. Chapel in the Hills was super cool! Check out Rushmore Brewery (Pounding Fathers is upstairs restaurant and is best). We also enjoyed Skogen Kitchen for our anniversary (expensive but fantastic) Rapid City is close by which has Walmart, Walgreens, etc. we rented Ebikes and took a day on Mickelsen Trail!!!8 months ago Creekside Mountain RV Park
- candivan57 Lots to dotrain ride, gold mines, mammoth site, waterfalls, bear country USA, Custer State Park.2 years ago Creekside Mountain RV Park
- Tom9047 Eat at the Alpine Inn in Hill City. Dinner menu offer only 2 entrees: Filet or Spaetcle... both were excellent & you can't beat the price. Get there at 3:45 pm and get in line for a pager which is issued at 4 pm for the first seating at 5 pm. You can then hit the shops along the main street until you get paged at 5 pm (but be close by the restaurant at 5 pm).2 years ago Creekside Mountain RV Park

“Nice little quiet park”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Rita is the owner. She runs a tight ship to keep the grass alive & the park beautiful. Nice winding trail near meandering creek on back of property. Very quiet, only heard sirens one time in 8days....

“Lots of Road Noise during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Rita was pleasant when checking in and requires guests to follow the park rules or expect to get a butt chewing (which is fine with us). We camped during the annual motorcycle rally and Hill City gets...

“Good location for seeing Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer St Park.”

Owner came out to show us where to set up and guided us in. (Had to line up with others) Plenty of room for our 37' 5th wheel. Only bad issue was road noise. Nice walking/biking trail access next to...
