For those not familiar with Village Creek State Park, the B loop is up on a knoll in the park with the camping sites on the perimeter of knoll clearings. While I have not used Starlink here, I do not think you will get enough sky view if your receiver is mounted to your rig since there are large trees along the complete perimeter that would interfere with reception. Best chances would be pull-through campsites (42, 49, 50, 55) that are more open to the clearing but I do not believe there will be sufficient sky view....

If you are in a larger rig, select sites that are on the outside of the loop. We like site #38 for our motorhome. Level & easy to back in... Plus our "back yard" is a wide open field where you will spot interesting wildlife from time to time. No shade however. It is NOT close to the lake (pond) so if that is important to you, look elsewhere....

It will be difficult to escape the heat. Down in the canyon will be hot so plan on early morning activities. We stayed in Juniper loop and shade was sparse....
